A website for families
Children can play our games and families can download books without accounts. We do not ask children to provide names, contact details or photographs. Drawings and game progress stay in the current browser page and are not uploaded. Closing or refreshing the page resets them. We do not sell personal information, use targeted advertising or build profiles of children.
Information needed to deliver the website
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Like other hosting services, it receives connection information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver pages and prevent abuse. Our application does not store IP addresses in its statistics database. Hosting and security processing is separate from optional statistics and continues when statistics are off.
Fonts currently load from Google Fonts. This connects your browser to Google and sends technical request information, including your IP address. Google Fonts is not an advertising feature on this site.
Optional statistics: your choice
Optional statistics are off until an adult chooses to allow them in . Refusing or withdrawing permission does not prevent you from playing or downloading. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping optional statistics off.
- Page visits and performance: Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views, referring sites, broad country and device/browser information, and page performance. Its beacon does not use analytics cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to identify visitors. Network requests still involve technical connection information. We do not load this beacon on URLs with query strings or fragments.
- Activity totals: our own Cloudflare counter records only the date, UK or US edition, activity identifier, event type and total count. It counts game launches, PDF download clicks and clicks to watch an episode on YouTube. No visitor identifiers, IP addresses, drawings, email addresses or click-by-click histories are stored in this database. A download click does not prove a completed download, and a YouTube click does not prove a video view.
We store your on/off preference and its expiry date in your browser for 180 days, separately for each domain. This preference is not an identifier. You can change it at any time using Privacy choices in the footer. Withdrawing stops future optional collection; existing aggregate counts cannot be attributed to you or individually removed. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides up to six months of statistics. Our activity totals are automatically removed after 180 days.
Messages from adults
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and anything you choose to include. We use these to answer and manage your inquiry, not to enroll you in marketing. Please do not send children's personal or sensitive information. Routine inquiries are deleted within 12 months after resolution unless needed for a continuing matter or legal obligation. No feedback form is currently published on this website.
External services
YouTube and Ko-fi open only when you follow a link. They have their own privacy practices. We do not embed their video or payment widgets, receive card details or process donations on this website. Search Console reports Google search performance to us; it does not install tracking code in your browser.
Your rights and contact
We rely on consent for optional statistics and our legitimate interests in operating a secure website and responding to adult inquiries for necessary processing. Service providers may process information outside the UK or your country, subject to their applicable contractual safeguards. We use providers to deliver these services, not to sell information to advertisers.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, object to processing, request portability or withdraw consent. Parents may contact us about information inadvertently provided by a child. Email info@ivanexplorer.com; do not send identity documents unless we explain why verification is necessary. We do not discriminate against people exercising privacy rights. UK visitors may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
